I bumped in to your Speculaas spread post whilst working in Belgium for the first time in over 10 years.
Since my younger son is obsessed with Speculaas, I will spend quite some of my remaining time here hunting down a supermarket with Speculaas spread – any brand recommendations from your side?

Hi! I love your blog, I’ve stumbled upon it a few times now. The concept is great and the pictures are really nice. Do you mind if I add it to my blogroll?
Hey Serena.
I have been following your blog since August..since searching for healthy breakfast ideas and cool blogs since then looking at your breakfast kind of became a daily routine for me. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your posts and sort of looking at your morning ritual for 5 months now..thank you I am trying to recover from eatin disorders for three years now and I think your blog is very inspiring. It actually made me try out porridge a couple of times.. thank you. xoxo anna
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! It’s incredible how a small effort such as take a picture of my breakfast every day has led for someone, me in primis.
I really loved being even a small part of your journey and I hope for the best. The blog won’t last for long (11.01.12 is the due date), but I just opened a tumblr page since I moved to London and I wanted to register this adventure, check it if you want: http://www.tumblr.com/blog/longtitlesarentcool
Hey Serena,
I would love to know how big one of your portions of porridge is..? How much oats do you use..? I read that I normal portion size would be around 50grams, but I usually make my porridge with 80 grams (and cinnamon&brown sugar )because I just LOVE porridge – is that too much..?
And: you are a runner right..? I wanna start running too – at the moment I am only walking for one to 1.5hours a day because I am quite underweight..do you have any tips on how to switch too running and how to gain muscle trough running..?
Thank you so much – I adore your posts, you really are an inspiring person <3
I use the pre-portioned bags because I’m always in a hurry in the morning, so I guess is 50 grams, then I put a sliced banana, half soy milk half water, a pinch of salt and cinnamon. Microwave for like 2-4 minutes and I top it with blueberries, or peanut butter or whatever I might feel like.
For the portion, I guess it depends how much you are hungry =)
Well, I haven’t actually run in something like three months since moving to London, since I’ve being way busier than before. I do walk a lot, though, since I don’t have a car. For gaining muscle I guess the gym is better, or swimming but I’m not an expert at all!
I love this blog!! Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and you’re inspired me to try some new ideas. All of your pics are so cute…def gonna do the breakfast in a jar! Keep it up x
